Kids Mac n Cheese

This is modified from https://www.yum-o.org/recipe/bobby-flays-real-mac-and-cheese/ to make half a batch. The cheese slices make it creamier than just the shreddded cheeses alone. The picky eaters also like it. 1/2 box pasta of your choice 2 tbsps unsalted butter plus more for greasing the baking dish 2 tbsps all-purpose flour 2 cups whole milk 3 slices American Cheese (8 ounces), torn into pieces 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup shredded monterey jack cheese 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1 tbsps olive oil 1/4 tsp black pepper dash salt Cook up the pasta according to the box. Drizzle with olive when done and set aside. Melt the butter. Add the flour and milk and whisk until the flour is blended. Heat and stir about 5 minutes. Add the salt, pepper, cheese slices, shredded cheese and parmesan cheese. Pour over the pasta and serve. #ads
