This is a good and quick dessert. It is modified from this recipe.
2 TBS applesauce
2 TBS milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/2 TBS sweetener of choice such as sugar, coconut sugar or honey
1 TBS cocoa powder
3 TBS flour, I used gluten free flour
1/8 tsp baking soda 2 TBS oatmeal
1/8 tsp cinnamon
2 - 3 TBS chocolate chips
In a mug, combine the applesauce, milk, vanilla and sugar. Add the cocoa powder, flour, oatmeal and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Microwave for 2 minutes. Optionally, add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
