Homemade Chicken Wings

This recipe is adapted from this recipe.

1 4lb bag of chicken wings

Chicken Wing Sauce:

1/4 + 1/8 cup Frank's original hot sauce
1/4 + 1/8 cup Frank's buffalo hot sauce
4 tablespoons unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
pinch - 1/4 tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 425. Bake frozen chicken wings for 40 minutes, flipping half way through. Broil for an additional 5 minutes.

While the chicken wings are cooking, add all chicken wing sauce ingredients to a slow cooker. Cook on high until the butter is melted and the chicken wings are ready to be added. Stir and add the chicken wings. Keep on low or warm until ready to serve.

If serving immediately, add all chicken wing sauce ingredients to a pan and cook over medium heat until the butter is melted. Pour over the wings and bake an additional 5 - 10 minutes at 350.

I made these in my Ninja air fryer oven and they came out great!. I air fried them at 375 for 30 - 35 minutes. They were just as crispy as if the had been fried in oil.
