Creamy Coleslaw

This is my go to coleslaw recipe. It's adapted from the Creamy Coleslaw recipe in the Better Homes and Gardens New Cookbook, pg. 461.


1 package coleslaw

Dressing:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream or for dairy free another 1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbs white vinegar
1/4 tsp sugar
good squirt of honey (~1/2 tsp to 1 tsp)(or add another 1/4 tsp sugar)
1 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 Tbs milk, or for dairy free another 1 Tbs white vinegar
pinch salt
1 small can pineapple, optional

Combine all dressing ingredients in order. Add the coleslaw to a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the coleslaw. Mix well. Chill for at least 2 hours for best results.
