This meatball sub recipe was delicious.
It is my own original recipe too.
1 lb. frozen Italian meatballs
1 jar Ragu mushrooms and green peppers sauce
2 cups water
1/2 onion, diced
1 small can mushrooms
1 small green pepper, diced
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. cilantro
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
mozzarella cheese
parmesan cheese
any type rolls of your choice, ex: hoagie rolls, sub rolls, etc.
Add meatballs, sauce, water, onion, mushrooms, green pepper, basil, oregano, cilantro, garlic powder, and black pepper to crock pot. Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours.
Preheat oven to 375, slice rolls, add meatballs and sauce. Cover with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Bake for 5 minutes until cheese is melted and roll is toasted.
