Pork, Apple and Noodle Skillet

This dish I made tonight was a little different. I don't usually cook meat with fruit. It wasn't too bad though.

6 thin sliced boneless pork chops, each cut into 3 pieces
2 apples, peeled, cored & diced
2 tbs, olive oil
2 cups water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 cup milk
1 package (about 4 ounces) stroganoff pasta mix
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup sour cream

In a large skillet cook apples and pork chops in olive oil until browned.
Add water, chicken bouillon cubes and milk. Bring to a boil. Add pasta mix and pepper; mix well. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until noodles are tender and sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream and serve.

This recipe is slightly modified from the original recipe found in One Dish (Favorite Brand Name), page 74, which is a great cookbook. The recipes are simple, quick & easy to make.
